So I’m excited – August 17th I’ll be opening for Big Head Todd and the Monsters @ the Rococo theater. I’ve been to a number of concerts at the Rococo but never have I had the opprotunity to set foot on the stage.

I’ll be recording my second solo album this week and will have it availible at the show

Rococo

Not sure who this is a portrait of; but if you know someone who closely resembles this person you should buy it for them

So that 5′ x 4′ painting ended up pretty interesting; Bunny, Zombie, Beauty. . .why B.Z.B? well I’ve found that there are not very many enduring Zombie pieces of art out there, and well; I thought I’d give it a go.

This Zombie is not hell bent on destroying the young girl that is obviously trying to help the little guy with his bunny puppet. Not sure what any of it means; it’s a little disturbing when you look at it, but then something about it turns sweet.

I helped a friend move the other day; this canvas was in her storage space. The pizza and beer thank you was very kind, but getting to take this home was awesome.

I’ll continue posting the progress – I have no idea where the hell I’m going to keep it once it’s finished so if you know anyone looking to purchase a huge ass painting send em my way

Winter that is. . . that was horrible. The dark cloud of cold loomed far too long.

I still managed to work on some commissioned pieces and am finishing up another one hopefully here soon.

So, I’m preparing for a November first Friday show which is being hosted, again at The Public shoe store. This show will be a bit different then my past two shows. . . I’ll still have some paintings hanging, including a couple new ones I’ve been working on, but I’ll have a number of drawings to choose from also. . . I’ll update, and post some examples soon

Hello ladies and gents –

Well, it’s been a bit since I’ve updated you all about what’s going on in my world, but I haven’t be idle – I have been working on a piece for an upcoming vinyl toy show called ‘We Ain’t Plastic’ which will be taking place October 2nd – Where? The Public Shoe store @ 1033 O street inside the Black Market – there are over 40 artists submitting toys for this show – The toys were picked at random, each artist had to draw to find out which toy they got – I drew a cat – This is my first time working with such a medium, and I must say I’ve quite enjoyed the experience – I have also been documenting the process by creating a graphic journal, which I will have with me the night of the show – I will scan a few pages for you all to preview which I will upload here in the next couple days.
